The sun is low, shadows are long. Autumn has arrived.
September marks the indubitable end of summer. The veggies and fruit are ready for a final harvest and the clouds are rolling in, bringing that crisp autumn air we love so much, while we snuggle up with steaming cups of cider.
I love it and enjoy watching the rain fall and the leaves turn.

This little Spotted Towhee is unknowingly having it's last bath and drink of water before a hawk comes through the garden and snatches it for a meal.
