Midsummer

~
In midsummer the air is rich with the scent of jasmine, grass, day lilies, fig, fir, and cedar.
Bees are buzzing about and butterflies are frantically fluttering from flower to flower.
Deep green leaves with splashes of reds and purples line the garden this time of year, and as always
we are patiently awaiting the blackberries to ripen.
<3 Oh, the pie to be! <3
~
There is a lustrous golden glow throughout the garden in July. It's something so magical.I notice it more in midsummer than any other time of the year. It is pure magic. Summer magic. Midsummer light through the forest.
