Magic Days

Long and dark are the nights, while the house is filled with light and warmth, along with the sweet scent of evergreen, cinnamon, and vanilla. We bring in greenery, and touches of red are throughout. It is a special time of year. 

I've been making bookmarks and baklava to give to extended family at Christmas. I absolutely adore the snowflake charms! The crystals are quartz and i hammered the silver beads to add texture to them.

We've been busy with school. I am extremely pleased with how smoothly our transition from public school to homeschool has been. It is going to make Christmas break so much sweeter ; ) we've all been working so hard!

My sweet girl thought of the idea to hang a bird feeder up while it is winter and the bears are hibernating. We've abstained from putting seed out in the spring, summer and fall, so we don't attract bears.

It's been fun watching the birds enjoy, usually breakfast, at the feeder.🐦
