Happy Spring!!!

A quick post to say, what a wonderful day! Finally Spring is officially here.

I couldn't of asked for a more perfect first day of spring. It has been absolutely beautiful. With the sun shining, birds singing and chasing each other all day, and trees blooming, it's been lovely.

Today I am featuring the Weeping Cherry that is just now blooming in my garden. 

It is an ornamental cherry tree, that has been cultivated in Japan for centuries. 

They are quite elegant. I find the contrast between the bark and the white flowers very beautiful and eye catching, along with it's unique shape.
