Rainy Mood
I think these Azaleas are my favorite flower in the garden.
Every time I set my gaze upon them they take me to a tropical paradise in my mind.
I snapped this pic of them a couple days ago, when the garden was delightfully warm, but with a slight sea breeze moving through the trees. They had just bloomed then.

Today I awoke to the pitter patter and drip drop of the rain as it gently beat down onto my skylights.
As I took a look around at the flowers and trees hanging heavy and low from the spring shower, I noticed a visitor who seemed to be enjoying breakfast from the garden.
A breakfast of Rugosa Roses.
I sat and watched her enjoy herself feasting on the leaves, but after a short while I did have to discourage her. She was not quick to leave and seemed curious in who I was and what I had to say.
I'm sure I'll be seeing her again.

The lilac is just starting to bloom.
I love the sweet scent that comes from these beauties.
A break in the rain would be welcomed, so we can enjoy these gorgeous blooms more.
I love it when we have a shower every couple of days, though. That way everything gets a drink.
There is nothing like the rain.

Nelli has the right idea for the day.
Rainy & quiet.
I do think it is the most perfect afternoon for a nap.
