Bunny Burrow

As I awake in my cool, damp burrow, stretched out and ready for a new day, my belly rumbles. I inch my way out through various twists and turns. The closer I get to the passageway to the garden the fresher the air becomes. Ah! What a wonderful day, I say!  Quickly I make my way through huckleberries, ferns and down a well laid path.

Along the way I pass unusual things, like this funny looking little man who seems to live in the cedars, but who never moves. Ever.

The flowers and grass are covered in dew. Perfect for a morning drink and the morning glory makes for a tasty treat!

Ah, how I adore this garden and oh, how I love this grass!

That's how I imagine our tawny, cotton tailed friends. It makes my heart fill with joy when I see them living out their sweet, honest and free lives in our little garden in the forest.
It's these simple, pure things in nature that help us navigate through this chaotic world we've created.
